Steve Jobs Resigns →
I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
Jobs must not be doing very well. His health has been questionable for a while now, and it seems it finally got in his way. What happens to the wonderful products that Apple produces now?
Best of luck to Mr. Jobs.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Apple now, since he was so integral to all of their releases. I’d like to see Apple OS on multiple platforms but that is about as likely as windows releasing one version of their operating system.

I think it’s promising that he’s hand picked someone to take his place. Plus, you have to wonder, with his health the past few years, how much work he’s been up to.

In regards to OS on multiple platforms: no reason why it shouldn’t run on a PC. It is Linux based. Also, fuck.
