Minor Speculum

Website Celebrates 100th Post

Yes, that day has finally come, MinorSpeculum has made it into the century mark of Blogsphere immortality. And although participation is at an all-time low and MySpace continues to dominate the free time of all our peers, save five or six, we will continue to thrive.

Honestly though, I went to a very popular social commentary Blog recently (no, I will not link you to it because it is a direct competitor) and I found that there were no comments under their posts. Just a bunch of adds and articles with no interaction. I mean, seriously, what good is making money off of a website? Who needs it? I just get on here to express my pain about society to anyone who will listen and occasionally throw in a joke or two about it all. I don’t want to make money off of MinorSpeculum at the cost of no one commenting on the site.

That being said, if you care to make a donation, PayPal me using my e-mail address.

Just kidding.

But if you’re ever in the mood, tell a friend or two or fifty, to check out the site and add some comments. Tell us that we’re idiots or geniuses or just plain young adults lost in a world where we no longer exist without the Internet. But please, never compare us to other money hoarding blogs or that pathetic excuse for a teen dating site MySpace.

I’m still waiting, by the way, for the phone call from Rupert Murdoch, it was rumored he wanted to purchase MinorSpeculum for $500. I’m waiting so I can tell him, “Hell no! Make it a grand.”
